Once a well known resident of Halstead, Essex. Doreen was a popular waitress and pastry cook at the Bull Hotel in the town. During WW2, she worked in the canteen on Earls Colne aerodrome and also assembled radios at Marconi in Chelmsford.
Doreen passed away peacefully at Waterloo House, Market Rasen, on 15th November, aged 97. She will be sadly missed by daughter June and all the family.
