Donate in memory of
In loving memory of Patricia Anne Rumble who sadly passed away on 24th November 2019. We will always remember Mum as somebody who was extremely determined in facing whatever challenges life presented her with, whether her 11 years dealing with the difficulties Parkinson’s gave her, finding solutions to the care needs of her various clients, getting the weekly grass stains out of my school trousers or making the outfits for our annual Christmas school plays. Mum always found a way to make it happen. Before Dad passed away 5 years ago he chatted to Sis and I about the struggles ahead caring for Mum but said with pride, she’s a tough lady your Mum and she’ll cope! How right he was!!
Dad knew from the moment they meet in Margate back in the 60’s that he had found his sole mate, Michelle and I knew we had a dedicated, caring and passionate Mum and more recently the grandchildren knew they had a Nana who would always put them first, ahead of her Parkinson’s challenges.
As Dad meets up with you again, I can picture the scene..... Hello gorgeous, followed by Mum worrying Dad has lost weight and he needs one of Mum’s homemade meat pies inside him, to quickly into plans to travel somewhere in the near future, to chats to update Dad about the grandchildren and then getting ready to head off to a bingo night at the local social club.
You’re in a happy place with Dad now Mum, with the one you love and free from pain.
We all love you and thank you hugely for giving us the opportunities we have and helping shape us to be the people we are!!
With much love,
Michelle, Brendan & Kiera. Steve, Alison & Hanna.
