Eddie was my cousin,he was also my first friend and playmate as we were born only five months apart to sisters. As a child Eddie was the shy one while I was always more than capable of getting us both into and out of trouble! As adults our lives took different paths and we weren't always the best at keeping in touch regularly. However the strong bond we had formed as children remained firm. I knew that if ever I needed him Eddie would be there for me because that's the kind of man he was and family meant so much to him. When we met up in July ,had I known it was the last time we would see each other,I would have hugged him tighter and told him how important he was to me and how blessed I felt having had him in my life for so long. Rest in peace dear cousin ,you will be missed xx
