Adored wife of the Late Malc, and deeply loved Mum of Danny and Kerry.
Bravely battled Cancer and smashed through chemotherapy and Radiotherapy treatment with incredible strength.

I will miss you so much. I remember when I met you all those years back at Peacocks and you taught me “clipping and stripping” on delivery days.
We’ve shared many fun nights out with so many hilarious memories and stories to tell. You’ve always put a smile on my face and made me laugh.
Until we meet again.

You will be missed you amazing lady some people struggle to light up a room. You had the gift of lighting up everywhere you went. I bet you and Uncle Malcom are running the racket up there. Sorry we wont be there to say goodbye but we will be thinking and have you close to our hearts and thoughts of you. RIP Auntie Katie xxx

Katy “Slapper” Walker, from the first time we met over 30yrs ago you’ve been more than a friend, a truly genuine person. From the days of “Aunty Katy” at the village hall (for which hundreds of parents owe you a debt of gratitude for helping in the development of their children) through to every time you walked passed our house (many times very very slowly) awaiting “Slapper” to be hurled across the road at you, followed by a broad grin from you accompanied by a polite (really!) smile, comment and hand signal of acknowledgement. You were a wonderful wife to Malc and mum to Danny & Kerry. Throughout your brave battles not once did we ever see or hear you feeling sorry for yourself, you carried on living life at full throttle. You’ll be truly missed by both of us (and all that had the fortune to be touched by your presence) but never forgotten. Rest in peace Slap, love Steve & Mandy xx

From the moment we met 20 years ago I knew we would be friends. Katy’s sense of humour and her love of life made her so much fun to be around. I have that many stories to tell of our nights out it would go on forever. I’ll say two euros and a maraca .... if you were there you will remember. I will miss her so much. Nights out will never be the same again. Ribs and tutti frutti cocktails for everyone next time we meet darling xxx
