You walked with me
Footprints in the sand
And helped me understand where I’m going

You walked with me
When I was all alone
With so much unknown along the way

Then I heard you say..
I promise you, I’m always there
When your heart is filled with sorrow and despair

And I’ll carry you
When you need a friend
You’ll find my footprints in the sand..

Granda, one month today since you passed. You have guided me through life and you will continue to do so. You are always with me, my guardian angel. I love you so much and miss you more each day.

Gembob x

Was very sorry to hear of your passing. You and your family go way back with mine and my parents were sad to hear the news and send all their love to June and your family left behind. You never failed to put a smile on my face with your silly jokes and infectious laughter. I will miss your wee stories and your moaning cos you forgot what June sent you to the shops for! I will always remember you fondly. Keep smiling Jim xx

Hi Granda, I suppose they say this is our final goodbye, but to me, a love as strong as ours can never be final. Although I cannot see you or touch you, I know you are right beside me. I can hear you and see you in everything that I do. The last few weeks have shown me that life isn’t always fair, but I am standing here today to let you know just how much I love you. I miss you so very much, and will miss all the small things more than anyone could ever imagine. I will miss you popping into my work every week and proudly telling everyone that you are my granda. I will miss having dinner with you every Sunday. I will miss you walking me out to my car after I leave grans and watching you wave me away, and I’ll miss you and gran bickering about who put the heating on, and you saying it turned itself on during the night to save yourself getting into trouble. I will, with every bit of my being, miss you and every part of you, but I will mostly miss your kind heart and words of wisdom. I will never ever forget the things that you have taught me. I just want to say thank you, for always being there, there’s not one milestone in my life that you weren’t there, always cheering on your wee gembob. I am the most blessed girl in the world to of had you, the most wonderful and precious man as my granda, you will always remain the most gentle, caring, and selfless man that I have had the pleasure of loving so deeply. You loved mark and I unconditionally every day and I thank you for that, you have shaped us into the people we are today. You are truly irreplaceable, and I have lost a peace of my heart and soul along with losing you, but I know you will be beside me in everything I do in life, guiding me along. You brought light and laughter to everyone Jamesy boy. To know you are at peace has given us all strength, and I know it has been you keeping gran strong, she has lost her soulmate after 55 years of marriage, but you can rest now knowing we will take care of her. My bestpal, my hero, the utmost amazing man I have ever loved. Nothing I say will ever be enough to express my gratitude and love for you. Thank you for being my granda, and loving me the way you have. I will always be your number one girl. We all love you so so much, and you will always mean the world to us. Wee Jimmy from Mary-hill, you will never be forgotten.
