In loving memory of Pauline Rayns - ('Our Mam'), who sadly passed away on 22nd October 2019 at 2.30pm.

A special, 'one of a kind' mam, to; Tony, Paul, Paula & Carl. A loving grandma to; Ian, Sarah, Alex, Mark, Liam, Laura, Rebecca & Connor. Also, great-grandma to; Kaila, Kacey, Mylo, Bexley, Declan, Kyle & Eric. Not forgetting daughter-in-laws; Maria, Samantha & Jan. She loved us all unconditionally. We will forever be thankful for knowing her and we will never forget our mam, she was beautiful both inside and out. Her smile could light up a room and it often did. Her personality was infectious, she was a bit 'nuts' in a good way, the laughter we all shared will never be forgotten.

'Our mam' was never demanding, she'd ask you "to try your best" and so long as you did that, she was happy. She loved having her four kids, she was a 'proper housewife' - dinners on the table, no gadgets such as microwaves, dishwashers and duvets, she made do with what she did have. She came from a background where times were hard, but was never materialistic or interested in financial gain.

Vascular Dementia is a horrible disease that wrapped itself around her, but it never took away our mam's ability to smile and she still knew who we were, which was very important to us. She had a wicked sense of humour and was a totally unique and special individual. Our hearts are broken and they will never be completely whole again without her. She lives on inside us now - within our memories...

If there is an afterlife out there, dad will be saying, "Come on Louie, I'm not bleedin' spoofing, I've been waiting for you these past 13 years, it's good to see you"

We will always remember this amazing woman who was fantastic to the very end, she helped make us who we are today.

Goodnight Mam, you can rest now... XX
