This is in loving memory of June Rodway who sadly passed away on 19th October 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimers. Throughout this journey she was positive, fun-loving and caring - she never lost her zest for life. She has taught her family love for great food (and wine!), enjoyment of the arts, and eternal positivity towards life. No words can express our love for her, and how much we will miss her.
One of our chosen charities is the Alzheimer's Research UK fund, donations are put toward helping to find a cure for this disease.
We would also love for donations to Fitzwarren House Amenity Fund, their positivity and support for June and our family was invaluable during these years. This will make sure that future residents and families are just as supported as we were.
June's funeral will be held on the 7th of November at 1:30pm at the Kingsdown Crematorium, Swindon SN25 6SG.
Peace at last eh June? Thank you for all your love, kindness and laughs. You taught me so very much and I have missed you. Your rendition of On Ilkley Moor baht ‘at lives on! Sleep well June and keep that dance floor rocking. X

Remembering lovely June as my mother’s dearest friend through pain and lots of giggles!! June and my mother taught me so many life skills- obviously the art of cooking which took me to catering college with the most wonderful reference from June. They shared Birthdays, grief, Alzheimer’s and final passing away a year apart. I hope they are both at peace and that your families can find peace too. Lots of love xxx
In memory of a fun-loving women who could teach us a thing or two about living life! She has left behind the greatest legacy she ever could; a wonderful, kind and fabulous family. Her fun and zest for life continues to live on, every time we talk about her, laugh about her (her lipstick eyebrows) and miss her and drink a glass of wine that you know she'd enjoy! xx
