Pat was diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus on may 30th & 2 weeks later was told it had spread to her stomach and other organs. Pat took the brave decision to not know her prognosis and just enjoy her time. Her family were aware of what the future looked like & helped make her final months memorable. This included a weekend away to Brighton, trips to the coast & a ride on a Harley Davidson. Pats only regret in life was she didn’t ask the bikers to take her for a spin on the dual carriageway!! Pat bravely fought the cancer to the end & never complained. Her wish is for no flowers and instead money to go to the Big C cancer appeal to help others like herself and to the Louise Hamilton centre as they helped her when she was first diagnosed.
