Yvonne June Bridge (23 Jun 1937 - 16 Sep 2019)

On 16th September we lost our beautiful Mum, Nan and friend Yvonne after her short battle with cancer.

When Mum was diagnosed in mid-July, in typical Mum fashion she was up for a fight. Unfortunately by that stage the disease was already too advanced; she passed away eight weeks later in University Hospital, Coventry. Everything happened so quickly.

Mum was one of those people who everyone seemed to instantly like and who refused to grow old. She was, without any doubt, a 'people person' and was at her best around her friends and people that she loved. She adored family gatherings in any capacity; it didn't matter what we were doing, she just loved being around everyone...

We'll be holding a service for Yvonne on 9th October before she's laid to rest just a short distance from where she lived in Nuneaton. If you knew Mum and would like to join us at the service, burial and/or for a cuppa and a cake afterwards then we'd love to see you there! Just let us know if you're thinking of coming so we can make sure we have enough mugs ;)
