Glenys Margaret Wolny (4 Jan 1935 - 18 Sep 2019)

In loving memory of Glenys Margaret Wolny who sadly passed away on 18th September 2019
Glenys sister to Mary and Olwyn with brothers David and Ivor. Beloved Mother to Vivienne, Richard and Victoria. Grandma to Laura, Alex, Brandon and Ryan, and Great Grandma to Rose and James.

Glenys was born on the 4th January 1935, and from day one was always into mischief and the main instigater of any trouble.. And if she wasn't, she got the blame for it.
She married Andrew Wolny a proud Polish Business man. Together they lived a full life, enjoying their now synonymous parties and Barbecues..
While Andrew was a successful business man, Glenys also followed her own career path, starting off in Accounts at the railways which would help her later on in life., to becoming a District Nurse (HCA) in East Staffordshire, a position in which she was held in high esteem.
In the later years she joined our dad's Business Cherringtons looking after all of the accounts, which became her life long passion..
Glenys was a true Matriarch and will be dearly missed by all that knew her..

Family flowers only at the funeral please.

And as it’s a celebration of Glenys life we please request that as little black is worn as possible but would like everyone to try to wear something colourful..

The family would also like to invite anyone who can attend, to The Winery afterwards for light refreshments and drinks..
