It still doesn’t seem real that your gone and I will never see your beautiful face again, I still expect you to be sat on the couch and ready to give all the love and advice I need but it breaks my heart knowing your no longer there you were the most amazing and special mum and we had a bound like no other and that I will treasure forever. Sleep peacefully my queen back in my dad’s arms. I love and miss you forever.

Nanny Pat I miss our morning cuddles and our weekly play dates, all the chocolates and treats that you would buy for me and Ted but most off all I miss you. I love you Nanny Pat and when I look up into the night sky and see the moon shining brightly I know that’s you looking down at me from heaven. My Auntie Pat didn’t have a wand or wings, she didn’t need to spoil me with expensive things. She showered me with affection, love and care and no matter what, she would always be there.

She always had good stories to tell and she was a good listener as well. She was patient, kind and had a smile to brighten my days, she always made me feel special with her warm words of praise.

The day you left and gained your wings my heart just broke in two, I wish you could have stayed with us but heaven needed you.
God looked around his garden and found an empty space, then he looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face.

So sleep peacefully now my precious Auntie, you’ve certainly earned your rest. Gods garden must be beautiful now, he only takes the best.
