This was in a photo card that reads, Happy Moments of 1950 at Mablethorpe. In one of the photos above Claude is in the same location with my mum!

This would be July 1950 then, just after my sister, Julie was born. Kate and Ted were going on holiday immediately after my father rang to give them the news. Claude looks around the same age as in my parents' 1949 wedding photos. After their wedding, Claude ate a punnet of strawberries and was sick! He also got a clout from his mum, Kate!
