Steve was such a lovely man a true Gentleman, always had time for a little chat about this and that, the weather, holidays and everything else in between. Always gave a little toot and wave when he was passing by whilst I was out walking the dog shall miss that smile and friendly neighbourly face. RIP Steve x

I am so sorry for your loss, I worked with Steve on the bus run, he was so good with the students, he knew just how to be with them, so kind and caring as well as making them laugh. We had some great chats, he’d tell me about his garden and the vegetables he was growing, even giving me some delicious runner beans once, he’d talk about your little dog and ‘special’ cat! The main thing that sticks in my mind is how much he loved his family, he was so proud of you all. I will be there on the day xx

I’m so shocked Steve has gone, I still can’t believe it. Have so many fantastic memories of Steve in the darts team, and had so many laughs, especially playing the Kemsing girls ! He will be missed so much, such a great guy, totally gutted 😢 - Steve & Greg Kirk
