In loving memory of John Franklin who sadly passed away on 1st August 2019.
John passed away peacefully at his home in Brampton early Thursday morning, following a brief illness, aged 68. He will be lovingly remembered by all his friends and family, of which there are far too many to mention. John will be best known in Brampton as landlord of the Dragoon public house for many years, he was also an avid Formula 1 fan.
The funeral service shall take place at St Marys Magdalene Church in Brampton, at 1pm. Followed by a wake at The Dragoon pub, where we shall raise a glass and remember the good times, of which there were many. All are welcome to attend. Please make any charitable donations to The British Heart Foundation.

I just looked for a photo to post and the funny thing is, I have hundreds of photos of events and memories that exist because of this great man, but almost no photos of him.
Not having photos doesn’t make the memories any less meaningful. John made such a huge difference to so many peoples lives, in ways that he probably never even realised. Sad times.
