It seems not. Another correspondent on here has said she is living in Australia, but someone else spoke of her residing in London.

Julie Shipley the Uk actress lives in London, not Australia. She was married and has two grown up kids. She does not seek the limelight, and has no social media accounts, nor does she do acting anymore.

I don't know whether or not this is the same person, though the age would be about right. Not sure of the Leicester connection, I think she and her family ran a pub, possibly the 'California Inn' in Gomersal, near Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire. It would be nice if someone could please clarify

I worked with a girl called Christine in the 1980s who lived in Gomersal (BD19) and remember her saying once that the licensee of the California was indeed Julie Shipley, who had appeared in Coronation Street at one time.

It was the West End pub in Gomersal , West Yorks she ran !

Julie Shipley the Actress her Mother Barbara and my Grandmother were 1st cousins. Julie was also a bridesmaid at my Mothers wedding in 1973.
