In loving memory of Patrick (Paddy) Thackaberry who sadly passed away on 18th July 2019, peacefully at home in Caia Park, aged 96 years. Loved and sadly missed by all his family and friends. Family flowers only please, donations may be given in memory. All enquiries please to the funeral directors.

Well dad your now with mum both at rest. It was hard to say goodbye on your funeral but you left a whole which can only be filled by knowing your at rest. As time finds us it will get easier. Mecca said we should be proud of your funeral. But we are more proud that you were are dad. Hope mum still bends your ear. Oh say hi to Chris n Maggie and all who have left us.. We'll dad rest well with mum know. Xx

Grandad where do I start can't find the words to say How much miss you. Not a day will go by where we won't talk about the laughs you had with kids the mischievous thiiinngs you did together.. now you can rest with nanna and let us keep you in our hearts

Grandad, you supported us through so much, you taught us strength and resilience. Taught us that life was wonderful, when you looked for the positives, and accepted that challenges were part of life’s journey. You’ll forever be one of the stars shining above us, together with nanna and Uncle Chris. Thank you for everything. Love you always. God Bless xx

I love and miss you so much already. You were the strongest man I've ever known and you showed us that till the very end.
My heart has three breaks in it now that can never be fixed but knowing you are with mum and Chris and holding those broken pieces safe gives me comfort.
I wish you never had to go but your journey with us had to come to an end for you to restart your journey with those you love in heaven.
May your garden in heaven bloom with flowers and love sent from us you left behind. TTFN 😢😢😢 xxxxx

For the best grandad I could of asked for, you really did light up my life and i will forever miss you, not a day will go by where I wont remember how great you were, I thank you for giving me away to Ryan and walking me down the aisle, you did so much for me without even realising the effect it had, I'll still be dancing in the moonlight with you in my heart, love you lots,

Uncle Pat the kindest most gentle of Uncles. One of the nicest you could ever meet. I was lucky to have him walk alongside me during my lifetime & was truly blessed to have him as my uncle. He will be sadly missed by all our family especially Sister Sarah. Dawn
