I wish I could talk to you about the passing of Prince Philip The Duke of Edinborough! He taught us and the kids a lot!

  • Hi Keith, I found some photos of you both only two nights ago on mount Etna they are great. Sorry couldn't let you know the awful news about Nicky, we were all in shock. I had no news on where you lived. Hope all is ok. Beth Nick's mum

  • Hello Beth! Thanks for your message....I'm sorry I forgot your name! I only ever heard the word 'Mum' so the name never got printed in my brain. Most of my pictures are on slide, but we have just bought a slide scanner so I will send you everything when I have got round to putting them into a computer. I know Nicky found me a bit obsessed and driven on that adventure but I know she really enjoyed it and I must say I was impressed with her bravery (all things considered), in fact I never realised it but she looks like Lara Croft in that photo!...if you know who she is! Please say hello to Dom, Jo and Paul for me, not forgetting Roy. These modern times.... they are all a bit messed up I think. Nicky was a credit to you and you should be very proud.....Keith xx

I only learnt this sad news on Friday and I am shocked and saddened by such a loss of a beautiful and caring woman. She taught me more than I realised at the time.
This has hit me hard.

  • Keith, it's Natalie here. I went to Nicky's funeral but have only just found this site today. I can't even begin to explain how much I miss Nicky. She meant lots to many people.

  • Hello Natalie! I hope you are good, and Darren too,... this has been such a shock... and I'm scared how in just a couple of weeks my brain seems to accept it, this little life we lead seems so insignificant at times.... we are so privileged to have known Nicky. She was a very rare type. Maybe too beautiful for this world.
