In loving memory of Paul Aspinall who sadly passed away on 12th June 2019

I have only just heard this news of paul. He was a fantastic headteacher and did wonderful things for the children of leamington primary school. He inspired me back into teaching when I wasn’t sure it was for me. Having returned from travelling, he gave me the platform from which I’ve gone onto to have a wonderful career and currently a deputy headteacher.
RIP Paul - you were a wonderful man, fabulous at your job and through many like me, you legacy goes on. My condolences to the family - I’m sure you have many wonderful memories.

  • Hi Leanne, Thank you so much for your lovely message - it was heart-warming to read and made me feel really proud of my Dad. Kind regards, Rachel (Paul's youngest daugther) x

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Paul. I worked with him for many years in Leamington Primary and found him to be a most marvellous man. He was passionate about doing the best for the children and the staff. He was old school- a leader. Personally he was very generous in spirit. He will be remembered with much fondness.

"Take nothing but memories, leave only your footprints" was a favourite mantra of Paul's whenever we took groups of children on residential visits into the countryside. We have many fond memories shared with Paul during his time as Headteacher at Keyworth Primary & Nursery School where he introduced a generation of children to the delights of North Yorkshire and the Derbyshire Dales.
The imprint of his footsteps are the memories and experiences created that will stay with those children for ever.
Thank you Paul.
Our condolences to Janice and the family at this sad time.
