I first met Nick back in 1976 as I passed through the Guards Depot Corps of Drums.
He later joined me in the 2nd Bn Grenadier Guards Corps of Drums, where we shared some very good and some not so good times, over many years
I will always remember his fun loving, easy go nature, a cheerful chap with many a bad jokes!
When I got married Amanda and I spent many a night sinking back his home brew, my God that was some lethal stuff which sorted the men out from the boys.
God bless you Nick you will be greatly missed by all who met and worked with you.
