We are happy to donate to Pilgrims Hospice in memory of a man we know to be an excellent father, supportive, strong and ambitions for his sons. He will be very much missed, but his sons will be a great legacy.

Dear Gordon.
Wtf. to coin a phrase.
Sunday golf has been an absolute joy to play when out with you.
There are no words to describe you as you were totally unique.
It has been a total privilege to know you in a small way .
A man with a great personality who above all loved his family and was always ready with advise.
Thank you for passing our way .

I had the pleasure of a number of golf rounds with Gordon who was always unfailingly good company. He was a fine golfer but more importantly a true gentleman who will be sorely missed.

I met our lovely Gordon in that hot summer of '76 at Beckenham signalling school, we were just both 18 then ! We became firm friends from there onwards! He was a sharp dresser even them days, we worked a few signal boxes together and had some great fun at times over a pint or three ! He wouldn't take fools lightly our Gordon, we all going to miss his great advice and cheeky character which he had in spades! Rest in peace Gordon!

I have many happy memories of playing golf with Gordon. It meant so much to me that he chose to partner me in pairs competitions. The success we enjoyed was due mainly to Gordon's skill but he was always generous in his appreciation of my occasional contributions. Goodbye my friend, Mus
