Auntie Shirley. A lady small in stature but huge in personality. This wonderful lady was there throughout my life , helped many of us at school, was my teacher and mentor as a St. John’s ambulance cadet and fondly known to all in our family as my dads sister. She could be heard at every party referring to my late dad , shouting “his my brother” and to all intense purposes she was. Loved all of us kids and our kids as such. She is an irreplaceable diamond that will now twinkle above us in the sky. A very fitting and lovely tribute today at the service. RIP auntie Shirley xx
