To our dear friend Emma - just know how much you are missed already and how sad we are to lose our good friend. Whilst your absence has left a large hole in our lives, we find comfort that we had the privilege of getting to know you and enjoy many happy times whether it be over a plate of chips and (decaf) tea, shopping in Winchester, or playing with our cats! You were such a lovely, kind hearted person, who gave generously, was a true faithful friend and through the difficult last year you still managed to maintain a brave and positive outlook, with the ability to still make us laugh when we felt we were visiting you to give comfort. Your support and kindness over the years will stay with us forever, just know you are cherished, will never be forgotten and we hope you are enjoying the next life painfree, food-filled and somewhere overlooking the sea in a lighthouse. Lots of love, Woo-G xxx xxx xxx

I was Emma's boss at Paris Smith. At least, that's what the job description said. We both knew perfectly well who was in charge and thank goodness for that and for Emma. Emma wasn't with us for very long - far too short a time as far as I was concerned. Within our short space of time, Emma sorted processes and procedures and organised me from being someone who had everything in their head to being someone who had everything organised in a way that others could understand too. She did all of that with calm and friendliness and only a modicom of muttering under her breath! Our relationship went from one of employer/employee to one of absolute friendship and I will miss her hugely. I already do. In our last few months, when Emma was off work and I would visit in the hospital or at home., we dealt with her admin, bits from work which needed signing and we laughed and laughed. But I didn't tell her how special she was to me, how I admired her and valued her input and how much I genuinely loved her. Emma, my lovely friend, I am so glad that you are at peace honey - no more tubes or pain and I hope that you are absolutely scoffing down some delicious food! We all miss you hugely - you were a key part of our team and your loss is very real. May you rest in peace lovely friend, you will always be in our hearts. xxx
