I first met Kenny when he was 8 years old and I was 7. He was my best friend throughout my childhood and into my late teens. We both got our first guitars at the same time and both learnt to play them together.
We used to camp together in our back gardens and ride our bikes all around Stevenage and Hitchin. We formed our first bands together, did our first gig together (BAC Sports and Social ground at Bragbury End). I loved visiting his house on Bedwell Crescent and loved his Mum and Dad. Top, top people. Remember his sister Anne to as a lovely person.
Kenny and I started to see less and less of each other as he pursued his career as a professional musician and spent more and more time away. In recent years we only communicated through Xmas cards and occasional emails but he has always remained one of the best and closest friends I had in my early life. We shared so many things (including a girlfiriend!) (not at the same time).
Gone far too soon, but I will never forget him.
