Well Uncle John! Today is the day we lay you too rest after the journey you’ve been on these past few weeks! Why aren’t we dancing our legs off like we did at me mums party! Or the days we worked together in the Lathom, having everyone up the wall! They are the times we should still be having! I hope your having everyone laughing up there I know you will be! By the way no more footloosing haha! Today is going to be hard but I’m not going to say goodbye because I’ll see you again so I’ll say see you later! Rest peacefully now❤️

Sean (your little boy racer)

Xxx

Hello my son. (Yep, some other kind of wierd nickname we used)!!! I can’t believe this day has come. I can’t believe what we all have to do today. This goes to show that god really only does take the best. I love you so much. You will always be my big bro and I will always be your little sis - you were mine, our Lisa’s and Paul’s hero when we were kids. Always looked after us above and beyond what big brothers do. Do you remember that time I was so upset after losing our dog that when I come home from school one day, I called into the famous swifts where me mum would be pulling the pints and you had bought me a new little puppy all for me! You were so special and kind to me. We all love you so much. You were an amazing partner to Julie and amazing dad to your three absolutely beautiful kids. I could go on all day, but il keep the rest between us. We will all do you proud today son, even tho reality still hasn’t really hit. Say hi to my little shriek for me and please the two of you look after big shanks for us! Help her get better!!! Love you son. All my love your c-shells xxx (il play our song later - love of the common people - I will miss our texts whenever one of us hear it on the radio).

Love is always with your brother 💙xxxxxx

Dad, I feel like I’m just waiting for you to come home from work, no words will ever be able to explain what I want to say, it still really doesn’t feel real💔. Our memories I would love to explain but there are wayyy too many to name, the constant laughs, the days out and most importantly the nicknames, which I definitely won’t be going into detail about🤣. The pain I have felt is like no other, the lack of the simplest things like never getting to hear your voice again or one of your jokes, especially the ones that only me and you laughed at🤦🏼‍♀️🤣. It’s the knowing you won’t see me do my GCSE’s, finish high school or see me at prom, the knowing you won’t see Dylan do his SAT’s or start high school, the knowing you won’t see Shannon complete her exams or finish university, the knowing you won’t be able to have days out with Mum or watch your films together and the knowing you won’t see any of us move through our lives. It all hurts but no matter how heartbroken I am, I know you will be with us all every step of the way, helping us out when we need you, like you always have. I promise will make you so proud. Rest in peace Dad, you were the best, love you forever and always♥️♥️

John, so many memories of you, the big brother I gained. Sunday afternoons in the the Old Bill singing and dancing along to Phil Jones, getting Paul to do that Michael Jackson dance with the fork at our wedding (!!), playing the pans in your kitchen with a duster on your head because why wouldn't you? Family parties where you made us all smile...to list just a few. Will miss you so very much John but we'll keep these memories safe in our hearts til we meet again x love always, Kim xx

John, what can I say, you are one in a million! A top fella! Always smiling and cracking the jokes! Picking you up from work and watching you dance your head off to old school anthems was epic! New years eve! A couple years back, when we all had a drink together and welcomed in new year! Was one of my best memories with you and your lovely family.

Shine bright up there fella, and carry on the party! ♡☆ lots of love sophie and the boys ×××

Uncle John, you was like an older brother to me !! you lent me your best shirts & cardigans to go out on the pull and gave me advice when I needed most when I was younger. I’ll never forget how welcome you made me, to let me stay in your home. The laughs we had, over the years will be forever in my memories. Introduced me to the Becks & the fridge was never empty. Breakfast mornings & curry evenings and the odd portion of kim Do Ribs. Could do a list 20 pages long of our favourites !

RIP Uncle JohnBoy until we meet again make sure you take it easy on the Becks up there !!!

Rodders or DavyBoy or whatever crazy names you called me over the years X
