You taught me how to make this! Banana with a chocolate centre on the BBQ! You taught me how to make the best millionaires shortbread, and BBQ baked beans. Thankyou for teaching me how to cook the best things as well as being the best baby sitter to me

Rest in peace Nick. I know how much you loved your honey dog & so pleased she found a new forever home before you passed as you would ask me about her every time I visited. You loved her more than life itself & I know she helped you through the bad times. So it’s fitting you chose the rspca for donations.
I know you didn’t always do the right thing & infacf was a total arse at times but one thing I will say you were always good to my girls Ellie & Molly growing up.
I will miss the banter at the oaks Sharron telling stories about you as a kid & you turning to me & molly & saying I don’t know what she’s talking about it’s all lies with that cheeky grin of yours lol.
I know you had a dark past but your mum always had your back & forgave you the world over so I know she will be doing the same up there. No more laughing at me & calling me a shit driver for my awful wheelchair steering.
Goodnight Nick x

Rest in peace now Nick knowing honey has a new home. You loved that dog more than life itself at times & always put her needs before your own. So I’m pleased you chose the rspca who looked after her to donate too. I will miss the banter at the oaks listening to Sharron telling the stories about you as a kid & you would turn to me & molly & say don’t believe a word of it, it’s all lies lol. I know you didn’t always do the right thing & at times was a total pain in the arse but you was always good to my girls Ellie & Molly growing up. We had lots of chats in the last few months & you found it hilarious that I couldn’t steer your wheelchair.
Your up there now with your lovely mum & I know she will be looking after you & kicking your arse for things too.
Sleep tight Nick x

Most of the cousins that were around at that time. And probably the last time everyone was together and smiling.

My parents wedding around 1972. Nick is in the front in a striped shirt. Sharron is about 4 places to the left and is overdressed. I am in the middle, being carried. Great Day.

Big Nick you pushed my buttons drove me crazy shouted at me tried to "tune me in" and others.I still came back we had a laugh at our infamous raves at the oaks in your room and religiously refilling radio 2 request show on a Friday night from 5 till 7pm.we went out and had fun at bangers with Steve and also did the painful stuff of arranging your funeral etc. Even then you had something up your sleeve and dropped me in it and how you loved doing that to me.But also when you called me and you knew what I was dealing with before I could get to the oaks you were kind and caring don't cry cuz it's ok you said and you meant it. You weren't always what people thought you were and I know that and that why I stayed and fought your corner for you. I'm glad I did and I wouldn't change a thing.I can still replay voicemails on my phone to hear your voice yes even the angry ones.miss you and you still keep making sure I wake up at just gone midnight and then can't get back to sleep. Also you keep sending me white feathers on a daily basis so just like when you were younger I won't be able to easily get rid of you couldn't back then certainly can't now .Reunited with your mum aunty Jen and she will stop you getting into trouble with Keith so no afterpartying with him haha the look on your face that was the last place you expected to see me wasn't it Nick. But you never know when I'm going to turn up so behave.Hope you heard me sing the lullaby that Nan used to rock us to sleep in her arms and sing to us .Go to sleep my baby close your pretty eyes angels up above you watching on you sweetly from the skies great big moon is shining stars begin to peep time for little boys like Nicholas to go to sleep xxx

Nick in London, Late 70s. This is how I want to remember you, big fella. Before it fell apart. Back in more innocent and happier times. Rest now you've had enough trouble for any one person to deal with and you deserve to sleep at peace.

My condolences to all on Nicks Passing, He was a good friend and will be lost without him, he was always there, right when I needed help since I first met him.
He never let me down, and was glad I got to see him in his final stages. I will never forget the last words he said to me.
I will miss him.
I’m glad his suffering and pain is over and he’s now at peace.
“Requiem et pace” my friend, I got your gift to tel me your journey was over and I shall keep it, just send me the robins.

I can only hope I was as good a friend to you, as you were to me.
