GREENLAND Nee Murphy, Sylvia.

Passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones after a long and full life on 27th February 2019, aged 82 years.

Much loved Mum of Dominic and daughter-in-law Evette, Edward and Jennifer, and older sister to seven siblings (Liz, Jenny, Susie, Madelaine, Jonathan, Nicholas and Christopher).

Funeral service at The Exeter & Devon Crematorium on Monday 25th March at 11.00am in St Pauls Chapel.

Flowers welcome - delivered to Le Roy Funerals, 10 Alphington Road, Exeter EX2 8HH at least two hours prior to the Service please. Or donations if preferred for The Cats Protection League by retiring collection or may be sent to LeRoy Funerals at above address.

Sylvia was a teacher, careers advisor, school inspector, music and arts lover, animal lover (most especially of cats), author, poet, sailor and mother. Always an inspirational individual who believed in getting on with things, helping others and giving back to society. She fought a truly heroic battle against Parkinson's Disease for the last 17 or so years of her life and kept living life to the fullest right up to the end. She passed away painlessly, calmly and surrounded by love. She will be missed and not forgotten.
