In loving memory of our Darling John Robert Christopher (Handsome Grandad) who sadly passed away on 9th February 2019, leaving so many hearts broken.

“JohnB” “Moose”

Partner, Soulmate, Step-Dad, Grandad, Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Friend, Mentor, Luminary....

P**s-Taker and LEGEND.

John has left so many hearts broken with his passing, and with such a large family and circle of friends we felt it may be better to keep flowers to family only. However, if there is something special and meaningful that you would like to do then please feel free to get that for him. We are using Regency Flowers in Crayford but if not, John would really appreciate his friends making a donation to a charity close to his heart. Please click here to donate, in John’s honour, to the care of orphaned elephants in South Africa. Thank you so much.

Always smiling, always had a joke to tell and he could dance! John B was such a loveable, kind character. He had a way of making people feel special. I've just recently heard this very sad news. John B, such a great character taken far too soon. RIP John B.
Sending much love and my condolences.

John, It’s so plain to see how incredible you were and how much everyone loved you. You were everyone’s hero and Dad figure. You had an endless amount of love and kindness in you and that shone through no matter what. I’m devastated for everyone and how much of a hole this has made in their lives, it’s so unfair. But you gave everyone nothing but joy and happiness for life that I feel absolutely honoured to have had you there for the time I did. Ill miss your hugs that I genuinely thought would snap me, your laugh and smile, our silly texts and that warm fuzzy feeling of genuine mutual love. I adored and admired you completely. I’ll never be the same without you, I’ll never forget what you and Kim gave me and I’ll never stop loving you. Tinny 💞 xxx

Uncle JohnB, what can I say that hasn't already been said? My heart is so broken and it will never heal, you wasn't just my Uncle, you was my hero, my other dad. You have always looked after me, mum, Chelsie & Tula and made sure we always left yours with a massive smile and our sides hurting from laughing! Our family will never be the same without you and we will always be missing a piece with you not being here. You know how much we loved you and always will love you. Don't worry, we will look after Kim, Tania and George for you ❤ until we meet again Johnny I love you too much to put into words and my heart will always be broken ❤❤❤ xxxxxxxxxxxx

To my amazing Uncle John B,
I honestly can’t believe you are gone, it all feels like a horrible dream and soon I will wake up and you’ll be there with your big cheesy grin a giant hug telling me “it will be alright baby”. You were honestly the most incredible human being and anyone who had the privilege of meeting you will say the same thing. You were and always will be the hero and glue of our family. Our hearts are broken and nothing will ever be the same without you. I’m so honoured and proud to be able to call you my Uncle! Thank you for always being there and for all of the amazing memories we shared, You will be missed more than you ever know. I love you forever and always. xxxxxxxxx

If there were a God up there, he would’nt have taken such a Legend away from so many people..
Our lives will never be the same again without John, how lucky were we to have spent so many holidays, flotillas, London walkabouts, early doors drinking sessions and parties with him and Kim.

Johns character was second to none and there was never a dull moment in his company. Battleshits will never be forgotten, whata game for wrongens. B52’s will hold a special meaning forever more.

We learnt alot from John, his social skills were incredible and we should all take a leaf outa his book and just be nice..

Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting John would fall in love with him straight away. He had the ability to chear you up either by teasing you, calling you a name or just by talking frankly to you. What a man, lets never forget the gentle giant we all loved and called our friend.

  • Sue Atkinson. (Family Friend) I first new John, Gina & family when they lived at Sandgate Road, Welling, he was adorable then. During his school days & growing up, all the girls thought he was special & wanted to be close to him. He grew up into a wonderful, careing, warm, thoughtful, loveable man, full of life & always the laugh & soul of the party's. Dressing up in all sorts of different caracters, never worrying about embarassing himself. I last see him at Gina's 60th birthday at his & Kims house, when he welcomed family & friends & between the two of them made a special evening for her. A realy happy occasion, they had put so much work into it to making it special for his special sister.

Too sad.... a larger than life man who gave us so much support in the dark times of 2001 and saw us through it. He was a big part of our family treating our kids as though they were his with many good times and happy memories for us all. RIP John B xxx
