Dear Gerry,
We had some great times in Worthing 1979-1995ish when I moved away, that first scooter you had; C-reg (1967) I think - 'biscuit tin' more like and how often it used to break down. The flat shares in Heene Road and Grinstead Avenue and the many, many drinking sessions incl. as 'follower of fashion'/that bad taste party. Sorry you had to leave us, you were always so kind with never a bad work to say about anyone. What time to go! after all those yeas at Beechams and, with your pension due. Take care Gezza, see you on the other side, Mark

Lucky am I if not so worthy, to have had such a great Spartan of a friend. May you finally raise one of those bottomless glasses we spent many an enjoyable evening looking for.

Farewell Gerry.

Gerry my furry hero , we shared so many random and funny conversations around the campfire listening to all the lightweights snoring from their tents , your sparkling sense of humour will never be forgotten . You were always an absolute gentleman , so kind and supportive and always there for everyone , you were truly one of the best . If love was petrol your tank would always be full x
See you on the other side old bean x
