In loving memory of Lucy Smith who sadly passed away on 2nd February 2019.

Lucy truly was a special woman, she was a bright light in any room with her positivity and passion shining through. Lucys ambition was simple, to be a mum. She is to be envied that she achieved absolute happiness with the birth of Leo, thereby completing her family.

It is a source of much sadness that her light was taken far too soon but she would want us to be positive and happy and continue making the best world for her children.

Lucy was far from just a mum, she was the best wife you could ask for perfectly complementing Richards laid back approach with her fire, determination and passion.

She was also a much loved daughter of Carol and Bob and sister to Steve. living her life every day alongside her best friend and mum Carol. Working together each day at Happyhouse and then still choosing to spend every night chatting together and most weekends doing things together.

Lucy was also a special Auntie to Lexie and Lola playing a huge role in raising them, she loved them as if her own.

She was a friend to many who will miss her with her kindness, selflessness and thoughtfulness always mentioned.

Lucy had a reputation as one of the best childminders around. There are countless young people out there better off for her care. She loved many of them taking them under her wing and gave generously with her care and attention.

She is survived by Lara and Leo but also her memory, this will never fade with the mark she has left on this world and the impact she had on so many.

She was surrounded by love in her life and will be wherever she is now. We love her always and forever. x

Lucy was my cousin, I wasn’t very close with her but I heard how great she was as a childminder and person, I remember spending Christmas 2015 with her and her family and mums family. It was a very special and lovely day!

I send my love to the House family, especially Richard, Carol, Bob, Steven and my lovely Mum, Kate.

Rest in peace Lucy, wherever you may be, I send my love xxxx
