In loving memory of Evlyn Carlton Baptiste who sadly passed away on 9th January 2019.
Evlyn was a loving father, the youngest of 9 brothers and sisters, a caring friend, a wonderful boyfriend and an extremely kind man.
He will be truly missed by all of those fortunate enough to have met and known him along the way. His huge personality has contributed to memories that we can hold onto forever.

What a wonderful send off today of our lovely Ev, so many people turned out to pay their respects to Him, as sad as it was, it was lovely for Elliott to see how loved and respected His dad was, not just by him and Keely but everyone that knew him. God bless you Ev 💙💙💙

Dear Evlyn,
I’ve known you all my life from way back when we lived in Glenrosa street in the 70s, you and my brother Mark used to wait for mum coming from work at Langford as she would treat you both to chips, it seems unbelievable that you are gone,
I know I will think you will walk round the corner tomorrow as I used to see you at so many events over the years but sadly that’s not to be, such a kind happy person always a smile a laugh & a joke, you made everyone happy the sun came out when you were around, I thought of you as a brother & the last time I seen you out we were chatting away having a laugh & you called me little sister giving me a pep talk,
I hope Mark was there to meet you at the gates he would be so happy to see his old friend,
I remember you showing pictures to mum of your son you were so proud,
Sleep tight Ev we love & will miss you always 💙
