Joyce, Granny, you are now at peace and have broken away from the confines of your suffering body; free to laugh, move, dance, and play in ways you haven’t been able to in so long. It’s been 2 weeks now since you left us and I bet you found Grandad Tom in minutes to share what you have been longing for in excess of 30 years.
Life can be hard sometimes and how you fought to the grand age of 94 with all of what life did throw at you, anybody would be happy. A true soldier in mind, body and soul, battling till the very last.
I’m so very grateful for the gift of life you have played a part in providing dad, Gary and I, and if you’re looking down and following us all, I’ll endeavour to show you even more of the world that you never got to see.

Our Dear Joyce, a mother, mother in law, sister, granny, great granny, aunt and great aunt.
No matter how prepared we are for the passing of a loved one, it still comes comes as a shock and it hurts very deeply. A light has gone out of our lives but our treasured memories will last for ever, we will never forget you.
