Dear uncle Den. Thank you for being such a great big brother to dad ( Brian Furlonger) for your encouragement and guidance through your years together. For handing down your cars and tent! For supporting our family through dad's illness. It's now your time to be at rest with aunty Doreen and dad. We shall all miss that gentle smile xx Paula & Graeme

Sending love and condolences to Diane and Jean. Living in a different country didn’t see the family very often but do have some great memories of visiting Uncle Den in England or the times Uncle Den and Aunt Doreen came to Canada to visit his sister Sylvia. I am so happy that I got to spend a lovely Sunday dinner with the whole family in 2016 and spend some time with Uncle Den. Love Sylvia, Janet, Jamie and family xx.

Dear Dad
We respected your wishes and you stayed at home right up until the very end. We never wanted for anything as children and you gave your love to us all unconditionally. You will be missed so much but you are now with Mum again sleeping peacefully, we will be thinking of you each and every day . Bye Bye (Papa Smurf)

  • This lovely photo of Dad was taken on a visit to The Royal Engineers Museum at Gillingham on 21st June 2017. Dad enjoyed the time we had here as he was able to show us some of the trucks and lorry’s he worked on and drove during his time in the Army whilst in Hong Kong,
