Peacefully at home on December 14th aged 85 years, John George Green. George, the devoted husband of Ellen. The loving dad of John and Peter. The caring father-in-law of Lesley and Heather. The cherished grandad of Gabrielle. The much-loved brother of Charlie, Sylvia and a dear friend to many. Friends please meet on Thursday December 27th for service in Durham Crematorium at 1.00pm. All are welcome afterwards to Houghton Golf Club for refreshments. By request, family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, towards the work of Cancer Research UK.
