In loving memory of Don Gray who sadly passed away on 14th November 2018

Jason Gray wrote

Well today is the day I say goodbye to my Dad.

It’s a sad day as I no longer have the opportunity to physically see you anymore, but I know your spirit lives on.

Dad, you were always the joker and I love you for this.

Until we meet again. X

Dearest Uncle Don we are so sad and shocked, words can't describe. You were always such a fun & loving uncle and good for a laugh. We loved coming to your village when we came home to England and spending time with you. We will miss you dearly, rest in peace. Lots of love Barry, Nikki, Sam & Alfie xxxxx

Love you pops. You will he so missed. I will miss the way your eyes scrunch up and sparkle when you smile. I have always had the sweetest memories of you when I would come and visit you and Tina. Horse riding, theme parks, walking the doggies, delicious food! You are the best pops. Thank you for loving me then and thank you for watching over me until we meet again! I know you wouldn’t like to much of a soppy fuss so I’ll leave it there! Always in my heart x

I’m very grateful for the time we got to spend with you whilst on our last trip to England. Was a joy seeing you meet your great grandson Ike. It’s an even greater joy knowing your strength lives on in your other great grandson Moss, and your cheekiness in both. We love you Pops.
Sending love to the family near and far at this time.

I will always remember you for the time we spent together when I was a child. Walking up creeks with Bob the dog, teaching me to play Chess, pretending I was a solider with the old musket pistols but mostly for the one word that will stay with me forever “blastedheckibobs”.. I love you Pops

I have no words to describe the hole you leave in so many peoples lives. The thing with grief is that it requires to be felt, as hard as that is. There’s just no going around it. We have to experience grief in order to fully be able to start the healing process. There are no short cuts, quick fixes or skipping steps Especially for a man who was loved as much as you. Xxx
