In loving memory of Carol Ann Kinch who sadly passed away on 8th September 2018

Carol (my Mum) was the most amazing, brave, courageous, generous and loving lady anyone could wish to know.

She loved life, her family, her amazing extended Guide Dogs family, her fabulous Slimming World family and wonderful friends made since their move to the Midlands.

She has crafted, shopped, diy’ed, renovated, celebrated her 2 children’s weddings and welcomed 4 grandchildren into the world amongst so many other events and celebrations too numerous to mention. Not least a wonderful marriage to an equally wonderful husband and Dad. She was probably more busy after retirement than when she was working!

As anyone who knew her will know she cared deeply about everyone she knew, nothing was ever too much trouble for her.

There will never be enough words to say how much we loved her and how very much she will be missed.

Her funeral will be held on Friday 5th October 2018, 12.30 pm at Sutton Coldfield Crematorium and then after at The Plough & Harrow, Slade Road, Sutton Coldfield, B75 5PF. You are all so welcome to attend.

Mum didn’t want a morbid affair (her words!) instead she wanted a celebration of her life, love, family and friends. She has requested that people wear something pink or lilac, but ultimately we will leave it up to you to decide.

Mum also said she would like donations to be made to St Giles Hospice in Lichfield instead of flowers, but again if you want to do both please feel free.

It would be lovely if you could add your own memories of her in the messages section and photos if you have any.

Karen, Darren and Terry xxx

Carol I’m desperately sad I can’t say goodbye to you as I’m on holiday. I feel blessed that I knew you through our slimming world family. Thank you for your kindness and my thoughts are with your family and friends. I wrote you a little something I hope you like it. Love always Christy xx
The pain of those you leave behind
Your beautiful smile etched in our mind
Your kindness always so warmhearted
Is what makes us sad you’ve now departed
Some of us didn’t know you that well
But still it’s hard to say farewell
You loved your family your spoke with pride
Supporting them always by their side
You made us smile you made us think
Your infectious laugh a cheeky wink
You made this world a nicer place
A golden lady full of grace
You fought so hard until the end
So proud we are to call a friend
And while today we’re full of sorrow
We know you’ll shine into tomorrow
