In memory of Peter Charles Bate who passed peacefully away on 9th January 2015, aged 63 years at Holsworthy Hospital surrounded by his loved ones.
Beloved husband of Michelle. Will be sadly missed by all his family.
Funeral Service at the North Devon Crematorium, Barnstaple on Thursday 22nd January at 3.40pm.

Uncle Pete, You will always be fondly remembered for all the fun and laughter you brought to my childhood. Most of all, I will never forget the kindness and support you gave to me when my mum suffered the same cruel illness that has claimed you both. Rest in peace. x

Yesterday we laid to rest a very good friend and colleague, I shall miss you Pete more than words could ever say .For over 40 years we worked laughed and even cried together, a closeness I never thought possible, you have gone now but I will always remember you x.

You could always rely on cousin Pete for a witty one liner..right up until a few days before his death. The way he approached his terminal illness was an inspiration to me. Of course he will be deeply missed, but many amusing anecdotes will keep his memory alive. RIP Pete
