Sorry for the belated condolences but only just found this page. You were one of the greatest team leaders I had at the Pension Service James. Your kindness and compassion was first class. Such a lovely man taken way too soon

Loving thoughts and prayers to James' family and friends.

Wings~~C.DavidHay

Oh, to catch the winds of flight
And soar where eagles go,
To leave the woes of troubled souls
Behind me far below.
I'd listen to the song of birds
And sail in endless flight,
Then chase the sun through cloudy paths
And play with stars at night.
The boundless heavens for my home,
The breeze to lift me high
To raise above my mortal bonds
And never have to die.
Knowing I had found the way
To trails where angels trod,
And when my wings could fly no more,
I'd take the hand of God!

I was a work colleague of James and enjoyed his friendship. He was very kind and supportive, a great listener with a warm sense of humour. I was very upset to hear this news today. God bless you, James

A life taken way too soon. James you have been a fantastic friend for many many years.
With such sadness we have to say goodbye.
Always kind, always caring and always the voice of reason.
I can still see you singing ‘warriors of the wasteland’ walking home from the Dove. Such good times. You will be sadly missed by so many and never forgotten.
Lots of love

Although I never met you, I felt your love and support as though I had known you for a lifetime
