In loving memory of Eileen Sheridan Price who sadly passed away on 31st August 2018

Eileen was brought up by a good, honest, hard working foster family in Walton, and met her husband-to-be Ken at the Stompond Lane Athletic Club in Walton and the couple shared a lifelong love of sports, mostly running, tennis and watching football. Whilst working as a local sales-girl, Eileen was ‘discovered’ by a well-connected photographer, and with Ken’s encouragement, her life of glamour began!

She was trained at the famous Cherry Marshall Agency in Mayfair as a professional model, and within 2 years became the very first ‘Miss United Kingdom’ 1958, and runner-up in ‘Miss World’. In 1980, she became ‘Miss Great Britain’ before marrying Ken.

Eileen has featured in newspapers, magazines, T.V. adverts, T.V. chat shows, news items, T.V. films, cinema films and various personal appearances. She was also a well known Olde Tyme Music Hall Entertainer for many years.

Eileen, with Ken, became a good veteran athlete, and was Elmbridge Sports Personality Of The Year in 1982, as was Ken in 1987, and both were successful in the famous Hyde Park GFun Run for several years. Eileen met everyone from Showbiz names to the notorious Krays. Ken was her one and only love, and when he passed away after nearly 45 years of marriage, Eileen’s heart was broken. She wants everyone present to know that she will now feel at rest with her beloved Ken!
