In loving memory of Lynn Reid who sadly passed away on 28th July 2018 aged 93.

Lilian May Kathleen Guest was born in East Ham on the 26th May 1925. She was the youngest of three sisters; Elsie the oldest has lived in New Zealand for the last 50 years and will celebrate her 100th birthday on the 7th September and Iris who sadly died two years ago just before her 94th birthday.

She married Victor Gutteridge and they had Mark in 1963.

Vic sadly died in 1970 whilst on holiday in Eastbourne, he was diabetic and had been ill for some time.

In 1973 Lynn and Mark went to New Zealand with the possibility of staying however after four months she moved them back to London.

During a holiday in Majorca Lynn met Peter and she moved to Epsom they married in 1976.

Peter and Lynn followed Mark and Claire to Spain and spent six years living in the sun from 2005 until they returned to Epsom.

Lynn has four grandchildren that she adored - Rachael, Lucy, Ellie and Conor and she was so proud to have three great grandchildren that she also thought the world of - Lyla, Teddy and Buddy.

She sadly passed away very quickly but very peacefully after a short illness in the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher.

This is how I will remember my lovely friend Lynn, we met 56 years ago when she moved in the house next door to me, her late husband passed away with the very same complaint that my late husband suffered from. I have dug a nice piece of my garden up and on Friday I am going to plant a lovely rose in it and call it Lynn, this is how I can remember her every day. My thoughts are with Peter her devoted husband and her lovely son Mark, and of course her grandchildren. A friend I will never forget.
