In loving memory of the late Carolyn Stone who sadly passed away on 3rd January 2015.
Over the past few years Carolyn has dedicated her time to fundraising for numerous charities. Carolyn was currently the President of The Rotary Club of Ilkeston and her chosen charity for the year was Maggie's.
One of Carolyn's wishes was that instead of sending flowers, the money was donated to Maggie's, a place where people with cancer and their family and friends can go to find the practical, emotional and social support they need.
Donations will help towards covering the costs of keeping a Maggie’s Centre open and staffed, so that they can continue to provide the warm welcome and specialist support that makes Maggie’s unique.
We would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of The Park Hospital for the excellent care they provided Carolyn over the last 9 years.
