In loving memory of Shaughan Harward, born in Guildford, Surrey, England. A long term Edinburgh resident he died in Stockbridge on Tuesday 10th April 2018. Much loved son of Richard and Ann, brother of Rodney, also nephew, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Those who knew him will remember, despite his troubled life, that Shaughan was kind, compassionate and a gentleman. May he finally have found the peace he sought for so long.

Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Shaughan should do so to a worthy cause of their choice. Alternatively they may like to consider one of the following charities which support those with mental health issues and their families using the links opposite:

Support in Mind Scotland whose aim is to improve the quality of life for anyone whose mental health problems or mental illness has a serious impact on their life and on the lives of others, including family members, friends and supporters.

The Edinburgh and Lothians Health Foundation which aims to improve the physical and mental health of the people of Scotland, in particular in Edinburgh and the Lothians. It provides funding and makes grants to support projects and initiatives not normally funded by the health service. It would be helpful if donating to mention in the comments box that the donation is designed for the Royal Edinburgh Hospital (General Purposes) Fund (S08272).
