Will always remember Mr McKerns - a very kind man who always had a smile (even though I was in the house most days!). Thinking about the whole McKerns family.

Rest in Peace Dennis

I have so many memories of you from my teenage years and early twenties, right up to a few years ago when you and my Dad were in hospital at the same time.
I’ll always remember you as a gentle soul, with that shy but incredibly bright smile, that could light up a room. A loving, kind hearted, guitar playing, singer of songs.
🎼...our true destination’s not marked on any charts, we’re navigating to the shores of our hearts....🎼
Safe Voyage Dennis, even a sceptic like me believes Maureen and wee Dennis are waiting there for you. 💕💕

I have hardly a childhood memory that doesn’t include a “McKerns” somewhere! Aunt Maureen & Uncle Dennis have given me a wealth of memories & experiences that have enhanced my life in all ways. I guess that music is how I think of Uncle Dennis, a guitar, banjo or anything with strings brought out at parties, songs with missing verses and especially a hymn or 3. The world is a little less tuneful with Dennis’s passing.
My thoughts are with us all who will miss him but especially his family xxxx
