My abiding memory of Ken was his attention to detail even after he left 50 he clocked my bfg plated car parked in Sutton Coldfield outside a mates house while I went off to the match and left a very polite note asking me to confirm it actually was me and to pop round the corner to say hello on my return.
I did and was made very welcome by Ken and Sylvia, happy happy days
