What a sad loss to all the organisations Brian was involved with. It was about 20 years ago when I met Brian when we were volunteering with The Wildlife Trust. He was very hard working, great fun and good company. I had not seen Brian for about 4 years, we kept in touch by telephone every 2 to 3 months and I shall miss him. I hope to catch up with him some time in the future.

I last saw Brian ten years ago, but I’d thought of him many times since and often wondered how he was doing. Very sad to hear of his passing, but grateful to have known him. A pleasure to be around and some of the best humour I’ve ever shared with a coworker.

Brian was a very gentle man who lived his life to a high moral code. I'm glad he was my friend and he will be remembered by many people who volunteered alongside him at the Wildlife Trust with affection.
