In loving memory of Norman Stanley Brackett who sadly passed away on 19th February 2018. A much loved husband, dad, grandad and brother in law.
Norman always liked making a joke with his dry sense of humour; he put a smile on everyone's face - remember the silly voices?! He was a very hard worker at anything he did in life and in providing for his family. Even when he retired, he could never sit still and always had to be doing something. He loved driving whether it was his many different cars he owned or driving coaches for Shamrock and Rambler in Bournemouth and more locally with Dawlish Coaches. In later years, our dad then 'chauffeured' individuals to and from airports, which probably gave him the taste of more holidays with his beloved wife, Anne.
They both enjoyed many caravan holidays all over the country and made many great friends on their travels. At home, he enjoyed building his model railway in the loft, which brought back fond memories of days gone by.
This day is going to be a very sad one but dad wouldn't want us to be sad. So let's all think of the great times this man brought us and celebrate the legacy he's left us with.

I was thinking today about my uncle Stan and Aunty Hilda. And I remembered they had a son called Norman. So for some reason I searched his name on my search engine. I am so sorry to find he has passed. My gran Patricia Elaine Powell passed last year and she spent many years with uncle Stan and Hilda. I think my mum is Norman’s cousin. My thoughts are with you all . Xxx patricia
