MATTHEW ROBERT CLEVERDON
Passed away peacefully at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham on Tuesday 23rd January 2018, aged 47. Much loved partner to David, loving son to Heather and the late John, brother to Gary, Darren & Leo and a loved uncle. Funeral service will be held at Buckland Brewer Church on Friday 16th February at 2.00pm followed by interment. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, for PDSA or British Liver Trust by retiring collection or c/o Braddicks & Sherborne Funeral Directors, No 1 Abbotsham Road, Bideford, EX39 3AF (01237) 477222.

I'm 7 years late, Matt. What laughs we shared you and me. Remember Great America? You having to drive back? Amsterdam multiple times. Being crazy kids exploring your world? I don't know what happened to us, Buddy, but I will always think of you as my forever friend. Why no one bothered to tell me. Christ. Save me a seat on the Ska Train. Matthew was an old school friend and although we hadn’t seen each other for many years, I often wondered what he was up to. It was a tremendous shock to discover today that he had passed away a year ago and it has left me very saddened. Matthew, my friend, may you rest peacefully.
