I knew Richard more from contact with dear Zita (his mum) my neighbour opposite for 38 years and his lovely sister, Rose. They both thought the world of Richard, a gentleman. The service was very moving and was a true celebration of his life well lived. It's been my pleasure to know the family. The tributes were very moving and the number of people who turned up at the service is a testimony to how popular Richard was.
