well what can i say but you was a legend buddy. You will leave many memories in my mind of great times we had together in lanzarote and i know u have lived life to the fullest. The world will be less without u in it espically for your wife and children and your best mate Lee. You will always be in our hearts and mind.

Ken, from the first time I met you all those years back in the Plough at Alfreton (Guy had already met you with Swag in the Alfred) I was instantly drawn by your warmth, Irish wit and kindness. I think looking at the comments everyone that met you thought the same. We have had some good times, BBQ s, fireworks parties and of course birthday parties. We are so sad this won't happen again but we will always raise a glass & remember the 'grand' times. You were a brilliant friend, soulmate to Lucy and a perfect father to Cian, Shauna & Leaden. Forever missed & always in our hearts. Di and Guy xx

Our hearts are filled with love and sorrow for your passing dear friend. I have struggled to find the words as words do not suffice the presence you filled in everyone lives.
I thank you Kenneth for the cherished memories we all shared together. We were all so very blessed to have called you our dear friend for all these years.
We've laughed together, cried together, watched the sunset and then watched it rise together and shared many precious moments of life. Thank you for being you and for giving us fabulous memories as well as your beautiful children that we hold so close to our hearts and will cherish forever.

I had the privilege of been your friend from way back in ballymun, to working in Germany together and introducing you to jack Daniels and many other bad habits...you always made me laugh, I am convinced that Chandler bing in friends mimicked your behaviours and actions....I am devasted for your loss but delighted to see you married your soul mate and your beautiful children. This was not in the script dude, we were meant to grow old together, two old men down the pub putting the world to rights, moaning about our woman, comparing Spurs to Liverpool and how we smashing you at the top of the table lol I’m gonna miss you so so much buddy, I’m so honoured to have had you in my life, we never stopped laughing, you are gonna leave the biggest hole, we have so many amazing memories, every picture I have of you has a story attached to it, probably an hilarious one and I will remember them all forever. Ken, my old pal.
I read the news last night and to be honest I still haven’t processed it yet.
Ken and myself were childhood friends at school from about the age of 6 to 12. After he switched schools we lost contact but I often thought of him through the years. Then we reconnected on Facebook about 2 years ago and I had the pleasure of getting to know him all over again, this time as adults.
We never got to do the teenage years together but we bonded as we went through a few stories and caught up on each other’s families. Unfortunately with us being in 2 different countries, we never got to meet up again but always gave each other a quick shout on Facebook.
His stories convinced me that his was a life well lived, I just regret not having a bigger part in it. But I am really glad I got to connect with him again after such a long time.
I’ll remember him as a pleasant, kind and friendly guy and judging by the comments being left here for him, that never changed, and I like that thought and that he was so well loved.
I know it doesn’t bring any comfort right now to the people whose lives he played the biggest role in and my thoughts go to all his family, particularly Lucy and his 3 kids.
I won’t forget you buddy, that’s the truth.
And I’ll raise a glass for you ☘️

Ken was a wonderful man and one of the worlds true nice guys .. So many good memories ...dearly missed ..my thoughts are with you all xxxxx

So sorry to hear that Ken has passed away, such a lovely and happy guy. Will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

Myself and ken were next door neighbours in Belclare Green. We had many a great time as kids growing up in the area and we all have very happy memories ! Thanks for the memories Ken ! You were A true gent ! Sleep tight xxx

Im so sorry to hear this. Me and Ken were really close in Lanza, and i feel sick that i didn't even know he was ill. I know it doesn't bring him back, nor does it ease the pain, but he was honestly one of the greatest people you could've wanted to meet. We had some great laughs together and i still to this day drink JD & Lemonade cos of Ken, i remember the 1st day i met him, he came into my bar and asked for a "JD & White" i never really knew any Irish people before that so was unaware that they called Lemonade "White" i asked what it was and when he told me i thought it was a weird mix cos to me JD had to go with Coke. But he gave me it to try and 20 years later i only drink JD with Lemonade! And i always remember that day i met Ken due to that drink!!

He will be sadly missed but NEVER forgotten.

I will raise a glass of "JD & White" in his memory later.
