David when I phoned to ask for your daughters hand in marriage I was so nervous! I had only met you a handful of times back then, but without any hesitation you said yes. You were so welcoming to me, so much so that as soon as you said yes it felt as though we were family instantly. You were a great father, father in law and ‘Gaga’ and will be sadly missed.
I will miss the trips down to your pub with the over 65 club, older than me but can still drink me under the table.
You are at peace now and I know you will look down on us and hopefully we can all make you proud.
