Suddenly but peacefully at home after a short illness, David aged 79 years (former HM Coastguard Officer and Consultant at RCL), beloved husband of Dee (Elizabeth), much loved dad of Claire and Nick, dear grandad to James, Lewis and Connor, father in law to Rob and Debbie also brother of Robbie. Following a private cremation a celebration of David’s life will be held at St Columba’s Church, Bridge of Don on Thursday December 7 at 12.30pm. All friends respectfully invited. Donations in lieu of flowers if desired at church door.

  • Hi Roz Thanks so much for your donation, Dad would be so pleased knowing that he was still assisting his fellow mariners as he had done all of his working life. As he passed away with all of us by his side we told him to board his favourite ship from his Merchant Navy days and sail off back to the second love of his life - the Sea. Best regards Nick Foster
